We are looking to hire a Operational Excellence Manager for our Sea Logistics division based in Montreal.
Your Role
The Operation Excellence Manager (OEM) role is responsible to ensure customer satisfaction, development and retention long term. The person in this role will ensure that proactive communication between all stakeholders is conducted and maintained throughout the customer cycle. This role will ensure the implementation, reporting, data quality and internal liaison between all stakeholders and will be at the forefront of all responsibilities.
Your Responsibilities
Support for Customer Care Location, Pricing, Sales, Operations, and Management.
Supply chain analytics based on Kuehne+Nagel and/or customer data.
Project Manager for Implementation of new accounts and new projects for designated accounts.
Solution Design with a Supply Chain Road map per client.
Identifying project opportunities, both for continuous improvement and new value creation, quantifying benefits of each, prioritize with operations, KAMs and client and manage Scope of each.
Monitoring the value of the customer portfolio as a whole.
Business Intelligence: Specifications for and analysis of customer reports.
Prepare, and participate in QBR’s by contributing to and leading the continuous improvement portion.
Continuously provide training to all staff related to the business requirements of the account(s).
Business analytics: Customer overview from open sources.
Second level escalation point for assigned accounts.
Ensure Company KPI’s and data quality are met.
Drive pro-active communication between all Kuehne+Nagel stations involved, drive processes and efficiencies, as well as drive continues improvements on all levels.
SOP drafting and ensuring updates are done timely.
Additional duties that may be assigned to you from time to time by the Company.
Your Skills and Experiences
3-5 years operational experience in Logistics & Transportation.
Sound knowledge of ocean, air, road logistics and customs.
Sound knowledge of incoterms and project management experience.
Order management experience and experience in reading / writing SOP’s.
Highly proficient in MS Office / fully computer literate.
Degree / Diploma in International Business, Trade, Logistics is preferred.
Undergraduate degree in logistics or related business fields .
CIFFA certificate is preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills and the ability to work successfully under pressure and within given deadlines / excellent time management skills.
Strong negotiation and problem solving skills and highly analytical, process driven, and detail oriented.
Must be customer oriented and be able to create solutions to meet customer needs.
High degree of organizational, administrative and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team and Pro-Active and positive attitude.
