Overview:
Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Administrator is responsible for providing internal client groups and employees with support services for all inquiries and requests for HR-related matters. This role will provide accurate and efficient support for all HR transactions and information in policies, guidelines, processes and procedural queries and interpretations, HRIS transactions, personal data changes, and any administrative issues that the client may have.
Responsibilities:
Safety:

HR Support:
Responsible for coordinating and disseminating information and work activities to and from HR and operations. Works with the internal HR team providing support where required to Labour Relations, Learning & Development, recruitment, etc. Supports HR and operational staff to drive consistency for transactional HR activities in the business. (Announcements, Org Charts, Compliance Administration, etc.)
Record Management:
Manages and maintains shared HR drive and represents Eastern Canada on updates to central HR systems. (i.e., SAP SuccessFactors, Lafarge intranet, Silkroad, etc.) Maintains historical HR records, ensures data gathering, management, integrity, and quality, and oversees record keeping. Acts as the expert and central administrator for HR systems and the primary liaison with system experts. (i.e., DocDNA, SAP SuccessFactors, iCIMS, etc.) The incumbent will help HR and operational staff drive consistency for transactional HR activities in the business. Ensures that all transactions in SAP SuccessFactors for the salaried population are processed quickly (job changes, organizational changes, etc.).
Recruitment and On-Boarding:
May assist with overseeing new hire administrative processes and employee on-boarding utilizing existing software to ensure all employees are set up.
Relationship with Other Jobs:
This role will have a high level of interaction with HR Managers, HR Coordinators and generalists, business line managers, and HR Shared Services.
Specific Accountabilities:
Data gathering, management, integrity, quality, and record keeping.
Transactional processing in the HRIS systems.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Enrolled in University degree in Business or Human Resources preferred
Minimum 1 year of HR experience in a large manufacturing setting preferred.
Bilingual English and French would be an asset.
Knowledge and Skills:
Demonstrated administrative and organizational skills with a high degree of thoroughness and accuracy
Strong knowledge of HRIS systems and database query and reporting in an ERP environment, specifically SAP Success Factors.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Excel, PowerPoint, Word and other applications
Ability to multi-task and process-oriented
Strong verbal and written communication skills
A high degree of customer focus, business understanding, and time management is required.
