Lakeside Garden Gallery was established since 1984. We are currently accepting applications for: This is a permanent full-time position, providing valuable support to the Senior Team members. Responsible for maintaining and updating POS (point of sale) system, assisting in updating and maintaining webpage and ecommerce website.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in developing procedures to utilize all aspects of the POS system
- Assist with Inventory uploads, stock levels and products for POS
- Handle communications with external support personnel to include troubleshooting equipment and software issues
- Keep management abreast of system issues
- Assist with website support – liaise with marketing personnel and providers as required/directed
- Assist with Facebook, Twitter, etc. – troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Assist with E-commerce (on-line shopping) site as required
- Stay up to date with post and new uploads
- Document all hardware & software including licensing & network map
- Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor
- Stay abreast of trends and changes. Perform system audits as needed
- Other duties as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Secondary School Diploma and relevant courses
- Experience with computers software and related programs
- Willing to learn new tasks and software program
- Strong knowledge of office procedures and practices
- Attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), reporting, Internet, social media.
- Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proven organizational and time management skills.
- Experience in a retail environment an asset. Positive team contributor.
