A multi-disciplinary medical clinic seeking full-time receptionist to join our team.

Medical services: Family medicine (Family Health Organization), Cardiology, Urology, Internal Medicine, Orthopaedics, Dermatology, Physiotherapy, minor surgical procedures and cosmetics.

Job Description

• Welcome new and existing patients and visitors in a friendly, welcoming, & approachable manner
• Work as part of a team responsible for the front desk customer service, patient intake, & patient billing
• Receive high volume of phone calls and be able to prioritize calls and real-time patient interaction
• Respond to patient e-mails
• Organize faxes and referrals
• Book and confirm patient appointments
• Register patients and obtains all necessary demographic information and accurately input into electronic medical records (EMR) system – Accuro EMR
• Operate point of sale transaction terminal for accepting cash, credit and debit payments
• Reception and administration support for a clinic with multiple health practitioners
• Perform ECG, hook up Holter monitors (training will be provided)
• Manage supplies and maintain clinic in tidy and organized manner

Qualifications:

• Attention to detail is critical
• Must be able to work well within a team environment
• Must be able to use professional communication over phone, written word, and in person
• Very strong computer proficiency and the ability to multi-task
• Experience using ACCURO EMR is a large asset
• Complete fluency of the English language, including excellent spelling and grammar

Salary: Starting at $19.00 per hour depending on experience and skills
