POSITION: EQUIPMENT TRAINER

As an autonomous individual, you will be a key player in assisting the sales team with training clients to use existing or newly purchased equipment. As a proactive salesperson, you will generate sales through training leads and provide after-sales training related to equipment installations. You offer excellent customer service to obtain customer satisfaction and your objectives.

TRAINING:

Provide training on bodyshop or mechanics’ equipment to existing or new clientele from our training center or at customer’s location.
Provide demonstrations and explanations on the proper use of equipment according to manufacturer and industry standards.
Address customer inquiries regarding the use of equipment.
Stay up to date on current industry and market trends regarding equipment & training in the Automobile Industry.
Prepare equipment for certification.
Take part in Supplier/Factory Training.

SALES:

Generate and qualify leads
Source and develop client referrals
Develop and maintain a customer database
Develop and maintain sales and promotional materials as needed
Make sales calls to new and existing clients
Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
Negotiate with clients
Develop sales proposals
Maintain sales activity records and prepare sales reports
Respond to training & sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
Perform quality checks on product and service delivery
Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
participate in sales events.
Ensure the development and retention of the market
Conclude sales contracts and ensure follow-ups
Evaluate product features to promote and offer advice/solutions based on customer needs
Occasionally, assist clients with trouble-shooting technical issues remotely and offer appropriate solution, service or product to clients.
Take part in Trade Shows, company representation, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Excellent ability to train people by providing clear explanations & demonstrations on the use of equipment.
Excellent communicator.
Excellent knowledge of welding and welding technics.
Very good knowledge: terminology of metals in the Auto Industry.
Knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, & electricity (an asset).
Knowledge of MS Office.
Always prepared to provide excellent customer service.
You are autonomous, a quick learner, able to learn on-the-job.
You are able to meet deadlines, able to take initiative and prioritize tasks.
You are dynamic, versatile, very organized, capable of following a company moving full-steam ahead.
Excellent people skills.
Team-player
Bi-lingual (French & English obligatory)
Driver’s Licence obligatory
Available to travel (Canada)
2-3 years experience

KEY COMPETENCIES :

DEP in electromechanics or industrial mechanics
Good knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics and electricity
Ability to read plans
You are organized, autonomous, and take initiative
