Job Description
We are seeking an Interior Designer to become a part of our team! You will plan, design and furnish the interiors of hospitality and commercial buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Formulate designs that are aesthetic and conducive to the client
- Select design components to create a unique and purposeful space
- Maintain client, vendor, and consultant relationships
- Prepare sketches and documentation for client presentation
- Coaching, mentoring and guiding team members through all stages of the design process
- Presenting and coordinating assets with the client
- Communicating with clients and project consultants to align project goals
- Coordinating designs with project consultants and trades throughout construction
- Collaborating with the Directors to generate ideas that push the limits of the design
- Sketching, drawing and modelling ideas in 3D
- Reviewing technical drawings to communicate the design vision to reality
- Assessing and validating project schedules, resources & work plans
- Building lasting professional relationships with clients and consultants
Qualifications:
- Degree in Interior Design or related discipline
- Work experience in Interior Design in Hospitality design
- Proficiency in CAD, Adobe Suite & Sketchup
- Working knowledge of Revit
- Familiarity with Photoshop, AutoCad, or other design software
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
