The Executive Director will be responsible for
· Lead all operational activities of the residence; including achieving occupancy targets, resident satisfaction, team member engagement and regulatory compliance
· Providing leadership and direction for ongoing adherence to organization policy, procedure and quality programs
· Leading sales and marketing programs for lead generation and occupancy growth
· Monitoring all departments to ensure that the residence is tour ready
· Fostering positive community partnerships with health and service providers, business leaders, civic officials, and other community agencies to promote the Residence as part of the community
· Compliance with Retirement Home Act at all times
· Participating in the development of the annual operating budget
· Manage revenues and expenses according to budget
· Oversight to Occupational Health & Safety Committee to ensure it meets all legislative requirements
· Prompt resolution of residents and family concerns
· Performing other duties as assigned
Must haves:
· Bachelors Degree in Management, Hospitality, Clinical program or related program, and/or equivalent experience
· 5+ years experience leading multi-level teams
· Proven achievement in meeting and exceeding sales and net income targets
· Experience setting and following through operational plans
· Strong leadership, change management and interpersonal skills
