The Director, Worker’s Compensation Service Delivery will oversee all of our national operations around claims management and our most important asset – our employees. The incumbent will play a critical role in executing the strategy in regards to service delivery while achieving our performance goals.
The Director, Worker’s Compensation Service Delivery, will work very closely with the leadership team to execute our strategic plan. They will upgrade the team, technologies, and KPIs that are already in place in addition to bringing best-in-class practices to the group.
We are looking for an innovative leader who understands the need to stay involved, while also keeping an eye on scalability and efficiency as the company grows.
What that involves day-to-day:
- Lead a passionate, high-performing, customer-focused team (100+) with an emphasis on proactively driving performance outcomes and client satisfaction;
- Oversee the “employee experience” within the teams and ensure a high level of engagement;
- Collaborate with the leadership team to execute our growth strategy (client presentations, contracting, implementation, etc);
- Collaborate with the client experience team to maximise client satisfaction;
- Collaborate with the product Management team in order to improve the capabilities of our technologies;
- Foster a culture of customer empathy, partnership, collaboration and continuous value creation;
- Measure and improve effectiveness by executing our KPI’s;
- Lead identifying opportunities to improve service profitability (bottom line) and partner with client experience to implement agreed upon tactics.
Succeeding as a Director, Worker’s Compensation Service Delivery requires the following core qualifications and skills:
- Being bilingual (English / French) both spoken and written is essential;
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management/Industrial Relations, or a college diploma (DEC) in a related field (law, business administration, human resources);
- 10+ years’ experience leading operations and teams in the context of consultation services;
- A demonstrated performance track record in a change environment;
- A demonstrated track record of building/growing exceptional teams
- Demonstrated ability to develop scalable business practices, teams, and methodologies;
- Analytical and process-oriented mindset;
- Able to form individual relationships and rapport quickly;
- Enthusiastic and creative leader with the ability to inspire others;
- Excellent communication, presentation skills and ability to influence at the leadership level;
- Experience in occupational injury management in Canada is considered an asset.
