What You’ll Do:
Finance business partner to the PCX Grocery VP, providing strategic and operational financial support providing key insights to Digital Leadership and Loblaw management teams
Drive the financial budget and long-term strategic planning process for PCX, ensuring alignment with various Digital and Enterprise finance teams
Ownership of the financial reporting and forecasting function for PC Express. Placing focus on risk management, scenario planning and deep-dive analysis into a diverse range of issues
Responsible for store capital and the creation of financial business cases focusing on driving store growth and fulfillment improvements
Drive valuable insights through ad hoc analysis on strategic investment decisions, new e-commerce channels (Delivery, Pickup, Ship to Home, etc) and business ideas
Building strong relationships within Loblaw Digital and Enterprise Finance teams to align on strategic priorities and cost saving initiatives
Understand grocery and market dynamics, and the impacts that PCX initiatives have on each
Forward thinking with the ability to take initiative and ownership to create and improve process efficiencies, by identifying opportunities and partnering with key stakeholders within the business.
Providing guidance, coaching and support to one direct report

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Role Requirements:
University degree in Business, Analytics or Finance, ideal candidate will also possess an Accounting designation (CPA) or MBA
7+ years of relevant business experience within a Finance and/or Retail environment
Superior communication and analytical skills with the ability to drive useful business insights, ability to think outside the box
Strong business acumen, with an ability to focus on continuous improvement.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills with experience in financial modeling
Ideal candidate will have exposure to SAP and analytics tools such as SQL, R or Tableau
