You will support the discovery, development, and delivery of ongoing technological solutions to improve the advantage of Loblaw through continuous business process improvements.
What you’ll do
Effectively communicate customer needs and priorities for project planning, development, implementation, maintenance, and support.
Research industry leading solutions and resolving feasibility of implementation in our Supply Chain network.
Perform operational analysis and business process mapping using data and modelling driven approaches
Use initiative and critical thinking to resolve concerns/issues/roadblocks within projects.
Maintains accountability and is focused on results.
Focuses on opportunities to improve and streamline user experiences with software & hardware.
Ensure in-depth analyses of business issues and project results are presented in a clear and concise format.
Analyze, clarify, and present the technical components of business issues/needs in a clear and concise format and in a professional, respectful and timely fashion to senior management team
Excellent grasp of business process and operational workflow modeling.
What you’ll need
Working towards an undergraduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Math & Stats, Business Administration, or related fields.
Balance multiple tasks and prioritize successfully.
Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills
Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced multi-functional environment.
Ability to think through a problem and determine the appropriate solution based upon Supply Chain principles, logic, and common sense.
Past experiences and knowledge of Distribution Centre, Logistics, Transportation, Automation, or General Supply Chain concepts in an asset
Exceptional Microsoft Office skills, including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, with the ability to manipulate data, construct graphical reports, flowcharts, and basic functions.
Knowledge of SQL, SAS, Python, simulation software (AnyLogic, Simul8, etc.), BI Dashboard (Power BI, Tableau, MSTR, etc.), and/or Microsoft Power Platform are an asset but not required
Knowledge of basic financial modelling and forecasting are advantageous.
