Lock Search Group Looking for Territory Manager at Toronto, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Job Summary

Our client, one of the largest global medical technology companies worldwide, is seeking a Territory Manager to join their team. The incumbent will be responsible for cold calling, prospecting and building relationships with new and existing customers.

Nurses or technicians looking to transition into a sales career will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to effectively promote the company’s products to appropriate hospital personnel and physicians.
• Meet physicians and other hospital personnel to determine customers’ needs, goals, product usage, and types of cases handled.
• Educate customers on products and proper clinical usage through presentations and demonstrations.
• Regularly attend cases in hospital procedure rooms and advise on product usage and gain insight into specific needs of physicians’ and staff.
• Manage consignment inventory.
• Responsible for attainment of sales/revenue objectives for the territory in order to attain quota.
• Partner with marketing, medical affairs, and other business units to identify selling opportunities and present to potential clients.
• Conduct consultative sales calls with Vascular Surgeons, Interventional Radiologists, Nephrologists, and Radiologists.
• Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge, and ability to speak clinically to physicians at a high level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Sales experience preferred, but individuals with clinical backgrounds (Nurses, Hospital Technicians) looking to transition into sales will be considered.
• Ability to meet and exceed the assigned sales plan on a quarterly and annual basis.
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to manage resources, and budget within the assigned territory.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Operate as a team and/or independently while demonstrating flexibility to changing requirements.
• Bilingual (French) is an asset
