They provide a wide range of services from project design assistance to construction to maintenance and support.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Junior Project Manager is responsible for assisting with various project tasks, including material take-offs, material ordering, and project scheduling. creation of work packages for different systems, documentation and control of the latest Project IFC drawings, providing them to the Field Supervision as required. You will attend site visits and actively participate in daily project schedule meetings. Additionally, you will be responsible for collecting daily Labor, Equipment, and Material (LEM) reports from the Field Supervision team and saving them in the designated Project Job Folders. You will also be responsible for compiling Project Turn-over packages, which include redline drawings, approved RFIs, and test reports.
As the ideal candidate, you possess a Electrical or Civil Engineering degree from a recognized University, along with at least 1 to 3 years experience in construction project management, or an equivalent mix of education and experience. Strong communication skills are needed to coordinate with team members, stakeholders, and clients, ensuring clear project updates. Excellent organizational abilities are crucial for managing multiple tasks and resources, while problem-solving skills help in overcoming unexpected challenges with adaptability and critical thinking. Collaboration with contractors, suppliers, and team members fosters project success, and effective time management ensures meeting deadlines and project efficiency. Attention to detail is essential for reviewing plans and specifications to maintain precision and adhere to safety and regulatory requirements. A PMP certification is considered an asset.
