LOFT Community Services Looking for Business Analyst at Toronto, Ontario, Canada Full Time

LOCATION: Toronto, ON – Performance Quality improvement

COMPENSATION: $56,806 – $72,368 Annually Prorated

CONTRACT DURAION: 1 year

To help fulfill our mission, LOFT is hiring a Business Analyst.

JOB SUMMARY:

As a Business Analyst you will be part of the team implementing the new Client Relationship Management (CRM) system, you will work closely with the project team and clinical staff to document processes and requirements, standardize clinical workflows, monitor and report on project tasks, and develop training and communication materials. You will play a critical role in understanding and tracking business requirements, facilitating communication between stakeholders, and ensuring the successful adoption of the new system across the organization.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including project team, clinicians, administrators, and the vendor, to gather, analyze, and trace business requirements related to the clinical information system.
• Understand and document current and future state business processes to inform change impact assessment and identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and support the technical documentation of system configurations, customizations, and integrations.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and clinical stakeholders to ensure alignment of system capabilities with clinical needs.
• Assist in the development and execution of test plans, ensuring system functionality meets specified requirements.
• Develop training, and communication materials for end-users to facilitate a smooth transition to the new clinical information system.
• Support change management efforts to ensure users understand change impacts and are prepared to adopt new tools and processes.
• Proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies, and propose effective solutions to mitigate them.
• Collaborate with the project manager to monitor project progress, track deliverables, and report on project status to stakeholders.
• Produce comprehensive and visually appealing communication materials such as PowerPoint presentations or briefing notes.
• Conduct post-implementation research to determine how a new solution is being used and recommending improvements.

WHAT YOU BRING:

• 3+ years as a business analyst or a similar role, with demonstrated skills in documentation, requirements gathering and management
• Undergraduate degree in Health Informatics, Business or Health Administration, or related field is preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Strong skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to exercise good judgment, flexibility, creativity and sensitivity in response to changing situations and needs.
• Demonstrated ability to foster positive relations and work with a broad range of people and service providers.
• Understanding of clinical workflows, healthcare operations, and information systems in a healthcare setting is an asset.
• PMP designation is an asset.
• Valid drivers’ license and access to a vehicle for work.
• Understanding of cultural competency and anti-oppression framework.
• Reflective of a multi-barriered group, as serviced by the program, a strong asset.
