Research Scientist (Start in September or October 2023!
Salary range: 75,000- 80,000 + Terrific Bonus + Full Benefits (day one) + 4 Weeks of Vacation + This is a Hybrid role and you will have to work in the office 3-4 days a week.

Responsibilities include but are not limited:
- Maintains and builds out cell and pathogen culture collections
- Designs and executes research studies and laboratory experiments that seek to answer research questions, communicating complex ideas to laypeople
- Manages projects end-to-end
- Produces protocols, analyzes data, and authors final study/research reports
- Generates costing sheets for budgeting and quoting, oversees supply inventories
- Promotes culture of quality, emphasizing scientific integrity and proper technique, throughout all projects
Qualifications/Skills/Abilities:
- Minimum of one-year of relevant experience within a lab environment
- Experience with cell culture
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in biology, microbiology, marine biology or chemistry
- Professional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate relevant information appropriately including written reports. Fluency in additional languages is an asset, though not required
- Professionalism and strong ethical standards
- Ability to multi‐task, prioritize and be resourceful in an autonomous environment
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and follow‐up skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) with an ability to learn other tools and applications quickly
- Experience with statistical software (GraphPad, R, etc.) is an asset
