Health & Safety / Logistics Coordinator
The Health & Safety / Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of safety and risk for all three company locations. Is the primary lead on company health and safety and is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient scheduling / delivery functions for the company’s Grain Division.
Requirements:
- JHSC certification is desirable
- Minimum of 3 years in a similar role is required.
- Knowledge of a federally regulated work environment is desirable
- College program in logistics or equivalent business-related experience preferred
- Management level experience leading a team preferred
- Previous experience with dispatch environment is an asset
- Transportation industry knowledge and experience an asset (i.e. shipping/receiving, scheduling, freight negotiations and regulatory requirements)
- A valid Class G license
- Class AZ license and a clean driver’s abstract would be an asset
- Clean criminal record check
- Bilingual (English/ French) is required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
