The Social Worker, Domestic Assault Sexual Assault will practice within the interprofessional team model and will be responsible for providing psychosocial support, counseling and safety planning to clients 12 years and older; who have experienced recent sexual assault/abuse or domestic violence. The Social Worker will also provide support and education to family members affected by assault/abuse; with the goal of assisting clients and their families achieve optimal functioning throughout the continuum of care.
