Position Summary
This research position is within the Department of Supportive Care – Division of Psychosocial Oncology (PSO) at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, a large academic cancer hospital that is part of the University Health Network (UHN). The ideal candidate will have a strong interest and experience in clinical research in health psychology or psychosocial oncology, with experience in both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. A background in clinical or counselling psychology, or social work is preferred.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for a highly committed, self-motivated, and hardworking individual, with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong initiative-taking ability. The ideal candidate must also be comfortable working in both a virtual capacity or in-person, be able to work well within a team and independently, and possess strong interpersonal, communication, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.

Under the supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Clinical Research Analyst will be responsible for (1) project tasks associated with a mixed-methods study on the unique psychosocial and related fertility needs of patients with early endometrial cancer or atypical hyperplasia, their caregivers, and healthcare team; (2) development of a psychosocial intervention to address distress related to fertility; (3) Assistance on other study projects such as but not limited to a fear of cancer recurrence study for young adults with cancer.
