Job Description
Reporting to the Manager of Analysis and Reporting, the role of Bank Digital Analyst will support aspects of Manulife Bank’s digital data reporting requirements, including generating KPI insights across the Bank’s digitally available product lines and Digital customer touchpoints. This role will work closely with Digital Product Managers, leveraging best practices in data analytics, interpretation, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital data reporting, manipulation, a demonstrated ability to solve analytical problems and translate data into the overall story of our customers while identifying areas of opportunity.
Key Accountabilities:
Partner with internal stakeholders to identify and understand gaps in current digital reporting capabilities, prioritize, patch, and deliver required data and insights
Create, maintain, and enhance performance dashboards to monitor digital KPIs
Develop digital sourcing funnels to measure click through rates, identify areas of friction, and streamline onboarding
Conduct A/B Testing to recommend and support statistically optimal tactics with the goal of increasing online sales
Actively narrate the customer story to senior audiences and identify opportunities for improvement
Measure the success of strategic promotions and cross sell initiatives
Perform ad-hoc analysis of unique business initiatives
Collaboration with Canadian Division customer data and segmentation initiatives:
Liaise with other areas in Canadian Division to leverage additional digital data sources, capabilities, and enhancements.
Subject matter expertise:
Develop deep subject matter expertise in the digital bank reporting process, including data extraction, analysis, interpretation, and validation.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in an analytical or digital oriented discipline
Experience in an analytical environment interpreting large amounts of digital data (e.g. Data Analyst, Business/Operations Analyst or Statistician), preferably within a financial institution.
Business Intelligence experience, including the generation of analytical reports for internal or external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex problems in a clear and concise manner to senior colleagues.
Previous experience in digital sales, products, and marketing organization is an asset.
Skilled at storytelling and relaying the customer journey to senior audiences
Experience with the application of statistical principles in a business setting is an asset.
Familiarity with computer programming concepts and database architecture is an asset.
Technical Skills:
Experience using Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics
Experience with Power BI or Tableau to visualize data
Experience with SQL or Databases is an asset
Experience with SalesForce is an asset

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.
Primary Location
Waterloo, Ontario
Salary range is expected to be between
$65,775.00 CAD – $109,625.00 CAD
