The Technology Specialist role is crafted to provide personalized end-to-end services to individual clients.
This position involves on call rotation; May be required to travel to remote offices 4 times a week.
Responsibilities
Provide hands-on technical support to address our clients’ desktops, laptops and mobile equipment in terms of hardware, OS, and application issues via phone, remote tools or in person.
Perform software installs, lead cross continent moves, hardware additions and change activities, as well as data backup and restore on certain accounts, for clients and configure, fix mobile devices (Blackberry, iPhone & iPad).
Handle all service requests/incidents on the client’s behalf and provide assistance in articulating and resolving technical requests.
Lead all aspects of all critical issues until resolved, engage support teams as required to provide regular status updates to ensure customer satisfaction.
Research and develop solutions to undocumented issues and services.

What we are looking for
Minimum of 4 years as technology end user support (Hardware/Network/Software/Mobile) using: O365, Skype, OneDrive, Core Dell desktops and laptops Technologies, Windows 7, Blackberry and Apple Wireless handheld devices, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office 2003-10, Active Directory Services (Groups and OUs), TCP/IP, LAN/WAN Technologies, Cisco VPN client, VOIP (Avaya), A/V equipment, Security practices and Symantec anti-virus solutions, Video-conferencing tools and hardware, RSA token, Bomgar.
Customer service experience supporting a global trading environment with remote access and desktop support tools.
Knowledge of Change and incident management in corporate environment implementing projects and working with vendors.
Experience working with application delivery tools and methods (SCCM, App-V), and experience with ticketing and asset management using ServiceNow and Aternity.

Salary & Benefits
The annual base salary for this role is listed below.
Primary Location
Waterloo, Ontario
Salary range is expected to be between
$68,775.00 CAD – $114,625.00 CAD

The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
