McCord Co-op Looking for Temporary Accountant – Full Time at McCord, SK Full Time

We are looking for an accountant to support our team.

Responsibilities

• Complete general accounting entries in SAGE.
• Assemble financial management reports and statements in an accurate and timely manner.
• Ensure accurate and appropriate recording of financial transactions.
• Assist general manager with customer accounts.
• Act as backup for POS entries.
• Maintain digital and paper records and documentation files.
• Assist and provide backup support to the general manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in Accounting or Finance required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and direction.
• Proficiency with SAGE Accounting preferred.
• Demonstrate intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Quick learner with a keen interest in developing operational accounting skills.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment.

Salary: $22.00 per hour
