Do you thrive working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment? You may be the person we are looking for to fill our Training & Development Manager role.
The successful candidate will work in collaboration with the production, quality, and safety departments to develop, maintain, and continuously improve the operations training and development program. Working closely with cross-functional leadership and SME’s, they will co-ordinate training documentation, scheduling, and reporting across three shifts and various departments at four locations – including legislated requirements for all Canadian employees. He or she will be accountable for setting the long-term strategy and vision for the operations training program, will play a key role on the Journey to Excellence Steering Committee, and will lead the T&D Pillar team.

Bachelor’s degree
1+ years of experience with training in a production environment.
Experience with TPM/CI/Lean/Six Sigma is a great asset!
Excellent PC software applications skills in areas such as the Microsoft office suite especially Excel.
Experience of other learning management tools would be beneficial
Leadership, influence, presentation, and facilitation skills at all levels
Strong communication skills
Ability to create strategic plans to provide long-term solutions and improvements
Flexibility to develop new methods and processes to achieve business goals
A continuous improvement mind set
Ability to engage and motivate others at all levels
Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) experience is a strong asset.
Our ideal candidate will have a university degree and one or more years of experience with training in a production environment. Experience with TPM/CI/Lean/Six Sigma is a great asset!
