THE OPPORTUNITY
Leading a team of experienced retail professionals to support our clients and partners through a 2-week Store renovation in Scarborough, ON. MCA offers unique work while allowing you to gain valuable experience. This position also comes with a great opportunity to join new and exciting projects throughout the year. WAGE: $25/hr
HOURS: Full-Time (40 Hours per week)
SHIFTS: 11:00PM to 7:00AM
START DATE: May 14th to May 26th 2023
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operating as a cohesive unit, you will lead and manage our Fixture Installation team while working closely together with our merchandising team throughout the project.

Safely receive and unload retail store fixture shipments

Deconstruct, move and build/place retail store fixtures

Utilization of hand and construction tools

Following blueprint and floor plans

Managing a team of up to 12 fixture builders

You are reliable, turning up each night and working safely alongside the team to deliver quality work. You are fun to be around, self-motivated and take pride in your work. You have strong communication and leadership skills. A successful team lead is always organized and maintains a professional and calm demeanor. You are a natural leader, and set a positive tone for your team members.

At least one year experience building fixtures in a big box retailer is essential

3+ years experience with a variety of hand and construction tools is essential

Physically fit and able to lift up to 40lbs, as well as capable of standing, bending, reaching, and lifting continuously for long periods of time

Previous team lead or management experience is necessary
