PURPOSE

The Specialist, Telematics & Special Projects is responsible for supporting the telematics (Mitsubishi Connect) project as well as the planning and implementation of MMSCAN special projects for product (port accessory program, Special Action Models). The Specialist will act as project liaison between MMSCAN departments and port to ensure processes maintain transparency, efficiency, and overall profit targets. The Specialist will also be involved in future project planning for both Special Action Models and Mitsubishi Connect as well as supporting new accessory development. The Specialist will review of sales training materials for all models and Marketing visual asset reviews for specification correctness. Role will also liaise with MMC on obtaining technical documents related to vehicle specifications, dimensions, etc., as well as VIN decoder information.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Telematics (Mitsubishi Connect)

• Supporting Mitsubishi Connect project through monthly reporting of trial enrollment KPIs. Updating of legal documents when requested by MMC CCS lead or legal for each model year.
• Lead on troubleshooting at MMSCAN for Mitsubishi Connect via vendors (Xperigo, Aeris) and port for bootstrap, as well as internally with customer issues from dealers via field/ customer service.
• Future development and support of program at subscription launch and liaison with CRM.

Special Projects

• Assist in the planning of accessories for port installation including providing time estimates, accessory suggestions, availability of parts and building/managing timelines.
• Communication between stakeholder departments including Parts, Accessories, Product Planning, IT, Distribution, Marketing, PR, Inventory and externally with port contact. Communication via meetings and updating of Product Planning Sharepoint site.
• Implementation of port programs via OMS system update, port plan creation and distribution, time trials for installation of parts, coordinating regular cross-functional meetings for timelines, on-site port training, reviewing of assets for special action models, and template creation.
• MMSCAN lead for accessory program applications for port accessories (OE designation via MMC) liaising with NAD and MMNA Accessory Development.
• Travel to port on regular basis for new program training and review.

Product Support

• Support of Product Planning and Product Strategy with technical knowledge of automotive systems, technology and training for future development and communication.
• Reviewing of technical documents and training for use internally and with PR, sales training, and Marketing as needed.
