The Opportunity:
Our client is a major player in the process sector within Eastern Canada, working with industry leading brands. We are supporting them in their search for a Nuclear Outside Sales Manager to support their valve divisions growth within this sector vital to Canada’s energy security.
This person will support growth within their nuclear vertical team, and will be building on existing success, coming into a warm book of business with major projects coming down the pipeline. Around this person will be a motivated team of inside sales and technical delivery colleagues, both internal and external.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing a range of technical projects at varying stages of completion whilst interacting with many levels of stakeholder at all levels of seniority.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Working with the Nuclear Group and Production Team to support our clients nuclear vertical customers.
- Managing relationships with a large existing install base
- Scheduling and conducting face-to-face meetings with existing and potential customers to present our clients products/services and to effectively communicate their benefits.
- Prospecting and generating new leads through cold-calling, networking, and referrals.
- Collaborate with manufacturing partners to develop effective sales strategies and achieve revenue targets.
What You’ll Need to Be Successful:
- 2/5+ years experience working in the Canadian nuclear industry
- An understanding of specifications and RFQ process in the Canadian nuclear industry
- A high attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
