The Headlines :
In the role of Director, Distribution working in Longueuil, Qc, you will be part of the transportation andlogistics operations team for the Quebec Business Unit. You will oversee all activities related to off-site warehousing, transportation in Quebec and manage direct interaction with all routes to market.
This position reports to VP, Distribution and works closely with the Quebec Fleet management, Customer Service Deployment, Quebec Distribution and HR.
The Responsibilities:
Most importantly, you will lead a team of 3-5 talented colleagues, and support their growth and development through career discussions and consistent one on one conversations.
Resolve cost, labor-people, quality, and service issues in the Quebec regions by interacting with various groups in MCBC organization and associated interdependencies within the retail market.
Develop and coach the team to ensure a good succession plan.
Drive best practices in “ways of working” into the MCBC distribution, which includes partner businesses.
Drive creation of a robust strategic and tactical plan that drives significant cost reduction (>$2M)
Own and manage the overall Quebec distribution budget.
Ensure all quality performance metrics are maintained to best in class. Manage this through MC endorsed quality metrics.
Track, Manage, and own the full goods loss (FGL) through the ON-WEST distribution network.
Support the Quebec distribution businesses to meet MC EH&S standards and performance.
Proactively manage all major retail market channels (Supply Chain) customer relationships to ensure we maximize service performance and be a key catalyst for improved commercial performance – aligned with FSM targets. Upper quartile reputation vs peer group.
The Other Qualifications:

You have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, logistic & transportation or degree in comparable skills and experience.
You have at least 10-15 years experience in Distribution and in creating, building, and executing Distribution strategies. Prior people leader experience.
