About this role:
As the Renovation Project Manager, your core job will be to manage renovation projects from architectural design, contract development, and process from demolition through to completion to ensure that projects are delivered on time and produce the best possible results for our clients. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s budget, client packages, construction documents and timelines. This position will be responsible to effectively communicate and coordinate with the design and construction team to complete the projects as forecasted in the schedule, while maintaining the standards and expectations of Monaco Interiors.

Responsibilities Include:
Initial site measurements and development of as-built drawings
Responsible for ensuring timely and accurately calculating estimated project cost in the scope of work development and budget estimating for the cost of materials and labour
Procure materials & labour required for project
Coordinate, Scheduling with head GC and site Foreman
Professionally prepares change orders and negotiates revisions, changes, and additions to contractual agreements with clients
Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements
Develop and manage detailed project schedules and work plans
Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout the entire project execution
Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
Coordinate with the Design team for any changes related to the project
Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement
Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
Manage change orders to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs during construction phases
Experience Required:
Minimum of 3+ years in project management
Minimum of 3+ years in architectural technology
Ability to design in Autocad or similar platforms
Proficient in site measuring and drawing of residential projects
Project management experience
Understanding of the Ontario Building Code
Experience with the full cycle of the construction process from start to finish
Ability to draw, interpret and read building plans, and working drawings
Ability to interpret engineering, architectural and permit drawings
Solid organizational skills, including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Quality control – work alongside head GC and site Foreman to manage various subtrades
Excellent client and internal communication skills
Highly structured, organized and task oriented
Excellent time management skills
Pays attention to detail and follows up/follows through
Experience with project management software tools and high proficiency in Excel
Proven ability to manage multiple projects while paying close attention to detail and meeting deadlines
