Moneris Looking for Director of Product, Retail Solutions at Toronto, Ontario, Canada Full Time

Moneris is looking for a Director of Product – Retail Solutions to oversee the product life cycle management for a portfolio of mass market digital and physical business solutions focused on Retail. You will lead and inspire a team of Product Owners focused on enhancing our competitive position in the rapidly changing payments industry by shaping Moneris retail products to meet our customer’s needs.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office and will work in a Hybrid model.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Vice President, Products

Your Moneris Career – What you’ll do

• Set a clear vision for the Retails Solutions Product Roadmap and develop business cases for introducing new functionality and retiring outdated or redundant features
• Perform the role of Family Product Owner in agile teams
• You will define and prioritize product requirements that form the Product set within the Retail Portfolio
• Lead Senior Product Owners & Product Owners who oversee the product life cycle for individual product teams within your portfolio and work with important partners to develop new products and features
• Lead a product team by providing strategic direction, building roadmaps, and collaborating with multiple teams to develop solutions and go-to-market activities
• Partner with other Portfolio Product Management teams to ensure that gaps across portfolios are reduced and that Roadmap items are decked against any Product gaps that may exist
• Work with Sales and Marketing on product positioning, go-to-market approach and identifying new markets and segments for Retail Solutions
• Maintain visibility to project scopes, schedules, and cost implications associated with new products or releases
• Responsible for aggregate Product P&L and measuring the success of products in the Retail Solutions Portfolio

Your Moneris Career – What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business/ Commerce/ Marketing or a related field is required or equivalent work experience
• 10+ years of Product Management experience
• 7+ years of leadership/ people management experience
• Previous experience in the retail and payments industry
• Knowledge of product management methodologies, processes, and reporting requirements
• People leadership is important – both the ability to work in teams across the organization with multiple partners and to influence and align others
• Experience aligning technology strategy and our goals to foster partnerships across the organization
• Motivated by optimizing a product while maximizing the return on investment
• Deliver on commitments to produce high quality deliverables under tight timeframes, working with speed across multiple products
