Established in 1999, Empack Spraytech Inc. is a leading aerosol manufacturer, liquid filler, and custom contract packager. Located in Brampton, Empack manufactures products for a wide range of markets including personal care, household goods, automotive, computer care, industrial and outdoors. We offer private label programs and produce a range of products under our house brands that include emzone, zytec Germ Buster, Rebel hair care and SunZone.
Sales Representative In Training – Personal Care Line
The incumbent will be a relationship expert and possess a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. The position requires an individual that can quickly establish relationships with potential clients and be resourceful in seeking out new opportunities
What you will do:
· Acts as a corporate and Brand ambassador, building up corporate and brand awareness to prospective clients
· Builds revenue and market share for the company by developing and implementing a sales plan to formulate targeted client call strategies to maximize opportunities in the territory or for the product line.
· Produces accurate sales forecasts and prepares monthly, quarterly, and yearly analysis of the territory
· Achieve consistent sales over time, even in periods of change in consumer interest
· Regularly contacts and occasionally visits accounts to maintain professional business relations
· Promptly submit orders and follow-through to ensure customer requests are honored
· Stay current with industry trends, monitor competition, and learn merchandising techniques to improve performance. Communicate findings to various internal functions and leaders.
· Support customer base with promotional materials, point of purchase materials, information and updates on product offerings, and corporate updates.
· Assist in developing and executing operational marketing plans that will support business objectives.
· Develop strategies to develop long-term relationships with customers.
· Exhibit flexibility to adapt the selling message to the customer profile and understand the customer’s considerations
· Maintains integrity, honesty, and ethically deals new and existing clients. Works quickly to solve any issues.
· Attend sales and product related meetings as required
· Participates with special projects and provides support as needed.
What you will need to be successful:
· Undergraduate degree or diploma in business administration, sales, marketing, communications, public relations, or a related discipline
· An interest in Personal Care Products and the Personal Care Industry
· Interest in B2B Selling
· Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
· Well versed in the use of social media platforms that support lead generation, and business networking
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
· Strong customer-focus with good listening and clear message transmission capabilities
· Easily builds relationships, is personable, professional and an effective networker.
· Must have, or have access to, a reliable vehicle for customer visits.
· Ability and willingness to accommodate some travel with the occasional overnight travel for trade shows
· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
· Self-motivated and capable of multi-tasking.
