Morrey Mazda of the Northshore, a member of the Morrey Auto Group, has an opening for a part-time Detailer. This position will provide our ideal candidate with the opportunity to optimize potential growth within the automotive industry and be immersed in an ambitious, lively, and supporting staff environment! Hours are Saturdays 9:00 am to 5:30 pm and Mondays 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparing all used and new vehicles for delivery on time
- Interior and exterior washing, waxing, vacuuming, applying protection products, and other duties assigned by management
- Communicate effectively with Lot Manager regarding vehicle status and condition
- Organizing supplied and quality control checks on vehicles
Requirements
Position Requirements – Previous experience as an Detailer would be an asset but not necessary, and a valid BC drivers license with a clean driver’s abstract as well as the ability to operate automatic and manual shift vehicles.
Detailers are expected to maintain high quality levels while working in a productive and efficient manner. They are also expected to:
- Be able to multi-task in a high-pressure and fast paced environment
- Be proactive and responsible for accomplishing personal and company goals without the need for daily coaching or prompting from Management
- Deliver results while working with others, and join a team culture that is respectful and supports the company values
- Have strong problem solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions.
- Be in good physical condition and be able to work at a fast pace
Benefits
The pay structure for this position is hourly. The pay rate is dependent on previous experience in the industry.
