Due to an ever increasing demand we are looking to add an Logistics Assistant to our Charlottetown PEI team.
Duties would be, but not limited to; processing inbound and outbound phone calls and emails. Source, track & trace freight/equipment, entering data into our program and spreadsheets, and other duties as assigned. The applicant would upon successful completion of a probationary term be assigned accounts to manage.
The successful applicant must have:
- Strong oral and written English communication skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- Self motivated with a willingness to learn
- Ability to find solutions and take appropriate action
- Reliable transportation, and is punctual on a daily basis
- Must be able to work independently when required, and manage your time effectively
- Basic computer skills for Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Personable and professional phone manner with a commitment to superior customer service
- Capable of multi tasking in a fast paced and ever changing environment- Detail oriented
Experience in the transportation industry would be considered an asset.
