The right candidate will play a central role in helping us get out key messages to our national network and amplify the voice of visionary entrepreneurs as they work to gain rapid access to capital via our network of 4,000 investors and 100 of the country’s most prominent venture capitalists, angel collectives and entrepreneur-focused innovation hubs.
You will also have opportunities to amplify the launch of our NACO Academy library of investment-related content, engaging with North America’s most active angel investors and venture capitalists on educational content that synthesizes investment best practices. This role will raise your profile within the investor community and help you build a powerful network, while working closely with NACO’s CEO, Director and VP of Investor Relations in developing communications to our network of investors.

Specifically, as Marketing and Communications Lead you will be responsible for planning, developing, and implementing NACO’s marketing and communications strategies. This individual will work directly with the CEO and the team to create promotional materials and content for various channels, including newsletters, news releases and media engagements.
The successful candidate will be a highly creative individual with excellent writing skills and experience in developing marketing and communication strategies in the venture capital and private equity industries.

Benefits
Compensation: The annual salary range for this role is $75,000 – $85,000. This role is also eligible for a discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits.
Other: This role is full-time and fully in person on-site at our office at 101 College Street, Toronto, Ontario. Core working hours are similar to the venture capital industry or Bay Street with evenings and weekend work, as required.
