Role: Marketing Lead Generation Specialist, North America (Remote work, Based in Ontario, Canada)
Netsweeper is looking for a highly motivated, results-driven, and conscientious Marketing Lead Generation Specialist to assist in the continuing growth of sales in the North American market & beyond. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, the Marketing Lead Generation team member will be a contributing member of the Netsweeper’s international team, dealing mainly with the United States and Canada.
The primary responsibility of the Marketing Lead Generation is to identify and engage with key K-12 roles to qualify leads and set appointments for a sales partner. As a direct contact between potential customers and Netsweeper, you will play an essential role in making a great first impression, identifying prospective buyers, determining what their needs are, and providing recommendations on Netsweeper solutions. Not only are we looking for that next Lead Gen Rockstar but also someone that is interested in future growth opportunities within our organization.
What We Are Looking for Someone Who:
- Develop and qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Contact potential clients through calls and emails; uncover market opportunities for our sales team; identify client needs and suggest appropriate solutions
- Book meetings between prospective clients and sales
- Inform marketing and other internal departments of what you are hearing from prospects including pain points, competitive intel, and competing priorities
- Continuously look for ways of improving lead generation activities and results
- Monitor the opportunity as it progresses through the CRM/sales process and support the sales representative as need
- Actively pursues new customers and opportunities including scheduling and completing weekly activities including cold calls, phone prospecting, networking, and face-to-face meetings.
- Represents themselves and our company with integrity, intelligence and dedication and is passionate about educating others about our software
- Understands customers’ diverse, specific-business needs and develops strong Netsweeper Product knowledge on how to meet those needs.
- Ensures quality of service by developing a thorough knowledge of technical specifications and other features of Netsweeper Software.
- Is persistent in engaging with prospects and clients using all the technology and techniques that we have at our disposal to ensure they understand value of the solutions we have to
- Sets and meets meaningful and quantifiable targets in coordination with sales leadership.
- Responds to inquires in person, via email or telephone in a timely manner
- Documents daily activity in Salesforce to track performance and maintain accurate information and documentation on opportunities.
- Builds strong networks that generate business opportunities
- All activities logged into Salesforce and merged with Outreach (if Outreach is applicable). All files and documents must also be saved onto company One Drive locations or as required.
Measures of Success:
- Meeting assigned targets for Sales/Business Development
- Achieving set objectives as defined by the Sales
- Accurately recording and updating leads in sales pipeline details and documents within the CRM
Qualifications:
- College or University degree or equivalent preferred in a Business or Technology
- Experience in SaaS business is an asset
- Experience in K-12 market
- Proven track record of Lead Generation/BDR performance metrics and of successfully meeting targets
- Have Initiative and enthusiasm, coupled with solid problem-solving
- Must be results-driven and proactive
- Experience in using CRM systems and processes properly and responsibly (e.g., Salesforce) is an asset.
- Able and willing to travel within and outside of their province as required and requested
- Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Articulate, positive, confident phone and email communicator
- Understand the positive impact of our products and how we solve our customers’ problems
- Great sense of humor, friendly, and motivated.
