Position: Driving Range and Batting Cage Attendant 2022

Job summary: Niagara Golf and Batting Cages is a highly rated ( Google 4.8) and award winning ( 2020, 2021 Readers Choice Diamond winner) facility located in beautiful Niagara on the Lake. It attracts a wide variety of guests, from across the region and tourists to the area, who arrive happy, and look forward to a great experience. We are open from 10-8:30 7 days a week, April till the end of October. This role is multi-faceted, and includes both front end ( customer focused) and back end ( operations focused) duties. This includes serving a broad spectrum of guests and working with a wide variety of outdoor tools, including golf ball pickers.

Responsibilities:

Front End

• Provide award winning service to guests, by helping them select the appropriate experiences, and insure they are informed and understand all safety protocols
• Accurately transact with guest
• Maintain front shop in good order
• Enforce all safety protocols

Back End

• Operate equipment to:
• Pick up golf balls
• Cut the grass
• Landscape
• Clean and maintain facility

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have the following:

• An ability to work 10 hour shifts (10-8) on the weekend
• Strong customer experience focus
• Physical capability to lift 30 lb, 14 kg crates of balls

Salary: Minimum wage to start.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual, Seasonal
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

Salary: From $15.50 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
All customers are served through a window, with no inside access allowed. Employees are required to masks whenever they cannot properly socially distance, and when working with others inside.

• Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
