JOB DESCRIPTION
NPW is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with senior financial professionals, gaining exposure to various aspects of financial analysis.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist in analyzing financial data, trends, and performance metrics.
• Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to the finance team.
• Contribute to the development of budgets and forecasts.
• Monitor budgetary performance and report on variances.
• Aid in maintaining accurate financial records.
• Assist with reconciliations and ensure compliance with accounting principles.
• Work on expense tracking and reimbursement processes.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for the Management team.
• Input financial data into systems and databases.
• Preparation of Commission payout for advisors.
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities to ensure compliance with CIRO, internal policies, and financial reporting requirements.
• Review, prepare, and post monthly journal entries including working with other teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of accruals.
• Provide administrative support to senior financial associates.
