We are currently looking for IT Strategic Planner within our IT Team in a Permanent Position. Reporting to the IT Portfolio Manager, you will take on the role of primary project researcher and preparer of the preliminary planning work to evaluate technology options available for the business sponsor.
As an IT Strategic Planner: –
You will be seen as a bridge between the Business and IT, this position interacts with all the related key stakeholders in various portfolios to identify project options and carry out the opportunity assessment related to these options. In many cases this will involve identifying and/or validating associated costs, benefits, risks, constraints, and dependencies associated with options for a proposed project. This work ultimately results in a business case along with the associated scorings and rankings and a recommendation to proceed. This work involves the creation and development of specific deliverables/artifacts so that the business sponsors can evaluate options and agree on recommendations to proceed. The IT Planner also provides guidance and oversight for opportunity assessments performed by other external or internal parties.
The IT Planner would have the overall responsibility to:
You will be responsible for personal safety and that of co-workers by observing and ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations. You will be accountable for environmental performance as it relates to the environmental management system processes and initiatives.
