We are currently seeking a Software Development_Agile to join our team in Halifax, Nova Scotia (CA-NS), Canada (CA).
Job Description
We are seeking to hire a squad of 8 people to work within our existing team of software engineers, analysts, and product managers to continue build out the a new product. This application is designed to provide a quick, easy way for qualified participants to easily give directly to the charities of their choice. Each team member will be responsible for ensuring that we deliver an appealing and modern high-quality product to our customers. Our team operates much like a start-up using a modern tech stack and staying on top of industry standards and best practices. Our team has built a culture that encourages thoughtful conversations, meaningful dialog, deep collaboration, and mutual respect towards a common goal. Position Breakdown
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required.
5+ years’ Java and Spring Boot experience
3+ years’ experience with JavaScript/TypeScript in an Angular or React environment, Angular preferred
Basic Duties Responsibilities
Experience building and consuming REST APIs
Experience with testing tools like jUnit, Cucumber, and Selenium
Passion for engineering excellence and continuous improvement
Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to learn and experiment with new technologies and patterns
Software Engineer
Technical Requirements
Agile Processes (Scrum, Jira, sprint methodology)
Typescript/Javascript
Angular 14+ and NodeJS
NestJS, Or Other Large Scale Express Experience
Relational Database experience.
Experience writing or working with Microservices
Experience writing unit tests, integration/api tests, and e2e test
Experience in documenting API endpoints including input parameters and responses, along with error cases

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is ($37.98 TO $65.86). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
