We are looking to add Logistics Dispatcher who is focused on solutions, is accurate with details, understands and acts with urgency on on follow-up and communication, and is 100% passionate about exceeding our customer expectations.
Positions: Coordinator- Logistics and White Glove Division
Duties:
Provide first point of contact for clients that require specialized delivery services for both residential and commercial applications, and provide full circle of service for all freight needs. Confirming installer, appointments, site survey, Booking delivery teams – Team Coordination – dispatching – Customer Service with daily delivery update status.
– Negotiate with US and Canadian Transportation providers to correct rate and service.
– Support all customer service needs of customers to meet or exceed their expectations.
– Know the freight and move it in a timely and profitable fashion.
– Process requests for quotes and follow up to secure load.
– Problem solve carrier specific issues from the point of booking through completion of each load.
– Collaborate and offer assistance to other team members in delivering optimal transportation service solutions.
– Responsible for all cost analysis, rating, and collection of all associated documentation to finalize load process.
– On call rotation- rotate through the “On Call” schedule for evenings and weekends with other staff members.
Requirements:
– Minimum of 2 years transportation or freight forwarding/logistics experience in a 3PL environment.
– Successful track record of exceeding the bar set for customer service.
– Impeccable Attention to Detail for both written and oral communications.
– Strong ability to work with numbers and calculations.
– Ability to multi-task and work well under time sensitive conditions
– Ability to work independent or in a team environment.
– Excellent time management, organizational and planning skills
– Computer literacy- accurate tying ability, spreadsheet and word processing application.
