This position reports to the Senior Mill Planner.
This position is located in Vanscoy, Saskatchewan, Canada and is not available for remote work.
What you will do:
Apply actual field condition information, relevant technical data, trade knowledge, personal experience, and where appropriate, input from maintenance, operations and technical resources to develop high quality executable plans
Ensure all plans developed are consistent with the Nutrien Planning Standards. This will include safety procedures, maintenance standards/procedures, identification of required resources, estimated task durations, materials, equipment and services required to execute the work identified.
Assemble fully planned work into formal job packages to be executed by various trade groups and contractors as required
Develop and maintain Task Lists to ensure complete and accurate records consistent with Nutrien planning standards
Ensure all equipment and parts required for the work plan are available for each job and is responsible for the coordination of outside services such as contractors, rentals, inspections services, etc. as needed
Perform backlog management with consideration of priority and strategic execution
Maintain all equipment information including developing spare parts and bills of materials within SpareFinder and SAP
Work with trade Supervisors and Operations to establish and maintain an up-to-date and sustainable preventative maintenance (PM) program
Assist in identifying and recommending training requirements, equipment, specifications, and standards to help maintain consistent maintenance practices throughout the facility and share best practices across the organization
Report all safety concerns and take corrective action for a safety hazard identified that could impact themselves or others
Participate in functional focus groups and provide cross function support/coverage within the Planning and Scheduling Group.
What you will bring:
Grade 12 education with a two-year technical/technologist diploma, journeyman maintenance trade or equivalent experience in the maintenance field
5+ years working or planning experience in an industrial process plant
Knowledge of industrial mechanic/millwright and welding
Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications (SAP Preferred, MS Office, Outlook, Internet)
