Oakleaf Partnership is partnered with a market-leading Consultancy in their search for a Senior Benefits Manager/Global Benefits Manager /Benefits to join their Benefits team during an exciting growth period. This will be a fast-paced, global role supporting the Americas.

Role

Reporting to the Head of Global Benefits, the Benefits Manager will help shape the development of the benefits strategy Responsible for the successful development, execution, communication, education of health and wellness, retirement, life, disability, absence management, and other benefit perks.

You will be a member of a high-performing Global benefits Team and work closely with multiple cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, payroll, and business partners. This role is a critical part of the Rewards team, with significant visibility to all levels across the organization and the opportunity to excel in a dynamic work environment. It is an energizing role with fantastic growth potential and a chance to impact our business’s success and executive leadership experience directly.

We are keen to hear from ambitious, versatile Benefits professionals with drive. The individual will need to have a minimum of 6 years of experience in a corporate environment preferably a mix of in-house and external experience. Financial services/Professional services preferred.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or equivalent in human resource management, business, or benefits related field required or equivalent work experience
• CEBS designation (Canada) preferred
• More than 7 years of employee benefits experience that includes 5-6 years of progressive benefits administration; 2-3 years of benefits strategy; global experience a plus.
• Prior experience in a global organization with a complex structure
• A deep understanding of the Canadian benefits environment, including a comprehensive knowledge of benefits legislation and regulations
• Knowledgeable of US benefits environment
• Responsive, planning and priority management skills in order to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Able to build relationships with consultants/ brokers
• Understand compliance with legislative and regulatory changes related to benefits
• Knowledge of WorkDay and payroll processes a plus
• Ability to hold a high degree of accuracy, confidentiality, and timelines for completion of projects
• General overall knowledge and experience within HR with demonstrated ability to apply technical solutions to solve business problems in an effective manner, preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, project management experience, time management skills, excellent attention to detail, ability to maintain confidential information and ability to work well in a team environment
