OCL Group Looking for Recruitment Specialist at Calgary, AB Full Time

OCL Group Inc. We are currently expanding our HR team with the addition of an experienced Recruitment Specialist to support our business operations. This role can be based in the Edmonton or Calgary office.

Responsibilities:

• Define recruitment needs and hiring requirements with the Human Resources Manager and operational leaders
• Assist in defining and creating an overall recruitment strategy for the group of companies
• Contribute to social media and marketing strategies, ensuring alignment with the recruitment process
• Identify trends and most effective recruitment methods
• Plan position postings for various locations to optimize candidate sourcing
• Identify and attend recruitment opportunities for in person and virtual job/career fairs and other hiring platforms
• Build and maintain relationships with Operations teams, working with Managers and Supervisors in the hiring process
• Work alongside recruitment colleague in the shortlist, screening and interview pipeline
• Evaluate skills and abilities of candidates, understanding requirements identified by the hiring managers
• Create and present recruitment process best practices
• Be an advocate of OCL culture and values

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in full cycle construction/industrial industry recruitment
• Strong interpersonal skills: communicate, cooperate and establish trust and credibility with the management team
• Results-oriented, highly motivated, very energetic demeanor
• Able to travel professionally on occasion
• Experience in negotiating employment offers
• Ability to prioritize and manage a large volume of recruitment
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Experience in recruitment software is an asset, including social media and other platforms
