We are recruiting for a Claims Manager. This individual will join our management team, reporting to the VP of
Sales, Marketing & Claims. The Claims Manger will be responsible for the overall day to day operations of the
Claims Department. This position is full time and is required to work in our Dresden, Ontario office.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the Claim’s team
- Provide training and development programs
- Provide Claim’s reports to management and the board of directors, plus participate in strategic planning
meetings
- Motivate Claim’s staff and promote teamwork
- Oversee all Claim’s department activities, including working with reinsurers, adjusters, lawyers,
contractors and engineers
- Manage and settle claim files
- Maintain confidentiality at all times. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and research and
review policy wordings and case law.

Qualifications:
- CIP or FCIP Designation
Minimum of 5 years claim’s experience
Demonstrated leadership
Strong analytical, oral and written communication skills
Accuracy and superior attention to detail
Understanding of claims reserving practices
Ability to work under pressure, be calm and manage stressful situations
Ability to multi-task and follow strict deadlines
Solid negotiation and conflict resolution skills
