SCOPE:
The Mindimooyenh Indigenous System Navigator, Phone and Support Worker will assist community members with accessing vaccines in a timely, safe, and culturally appropriate manner. The Worker will support community members with booking, attending appointments, filling out consent forms (documentation), support administrative functions related to the health clinic and follow up on COVID 19 vaccine access and health related issues, across Ontario.
Reporting to the Community Development and Nurse Manager, they are responsible for answering any questions the community member may have regarding health issues and ensure the community member is able to make an informed educated decision on the health-related processes. The Mindimooyenh Indigenous Systems Navigator, Phone and Support Worker will foster and promote cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity for health practitioners.

The Mindimooyenh Indigenous System Navigator, Phone and Support Worker will report to the Community Development and Nurse Manager for the proper completion of the functions outlined in the job description.
