The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing accounting functions for our 30+ studios, including implementing and managing all financial activities. Reporting to the Controller, this candidate will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including maintaining data and accuracy using accounting systems, supporting the Controller and financial reporting.

HERE’S WHAT THE ROLE WILL ENTAIL:

• Perform full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, vendors payments and reconciliation of AP ledger
• Perform full-cycle Accounts Receivable, including billing processing, customer payments and reconciliation of AR ledger
• Perform full-cycle bookkeeping, including preparing journal entries and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
• Prepare full set of financial statements for responsible entities
• Prepare annual audit working papers and year end activities
• Participate in ad-hoc financial and managerial analysis and planning activities
• Perform other related duties to the work described

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR FROM YOU

• Post-secondary education in the accounting field, CPA’s are encouraged to apply
• Minimum of 2-3 years of related experience in an accounting or bookkeeping field
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise, Transaction Pro, Beanworks or MindBody Online would be an asset
• Effective communication skills both oral and written
• Must possess a high level of professionalism, and confidentiality
• Strong customer service mindset
• Strong appetite for continual process improvement (development and implementation)

This is a full-time position that will be based out of our OTF Head Office in downtown Edmonton.
