PCM Cougar Manufacturing requires a full-time experienced and accomplished Logistics Coordinator to join our team. Our expanded business has developed and grown so that over half of our manufacturing and production is needed and delivered around the globe. The primary role of this opportunity will be to strengthen our existing materials group with the addition of a skilled and knowledgeable individual in support of the need to efficiently coordinate the delivery of our products globally.

This busy position is part of our materials team and will have a varied and interesting workload, candidates should be well skilled individuals with extensive experience of working safely, attention to detail/quality and efficiently. The skills, attitude and personality that are well aligned with our needs include:
· A minimum of two years of recent experience of coordinating the international logistics for delivering mechanical components and systems globally.
· Experience of working within a manufacturing environment is essential.
· APICS certification would be an excellent accreditation to possess.
· A thorough and extensive knowledge of all manufacturing supply chain aspects / elements would also be of great benefit.
· Strong ability to deal with and effectively interact with all aspects of the internal business elements; production, quality, finance, ship/recv. Etc.
· Outstanding skills of coordinating and negotiating with external logistics vendors; packaging / crating, freight / transportation, customs agents, shipping organizations etc.
· You will be up to date and well attuned with international freight compliance (H.S. Codes) regulations and requirements, both export and import.
· Exceptional computer skills, with extensive knowledge and experience of ERP/MRP systems.
· A dedication to working safely, efficiently and effectively in all tasks undertaken.
· Thrive in a collaborative team workplace but still fully able to be self-motivated and succeed independently.
· Your ability and willingness to undertake numerous other tasks and assignments other than just being a logistics coordinator is essential for long-term success.
· Have initiative to expand your working knowledge and abilities, while sharing opportunities for continuous improvement and to also train others associates on tasks for them to succeed.
· Excellent mathematical, people interaction, written linguistic and spoken communications skills and abilities.
PCM Cougar Manufacturing at the eastern end of Whitemud Drive and offer a competitive and strong package for wages (dependent on skills/experience) along with a complete benefits plan. We typically operate Monday thro Friday, this role is office based and has a level of flexibility for start and finish times to accommodate a life/work balance. There will be some opportunities (expectations) for overtime as work demand dictates.
