Penske Truck Leasing and Logistics Looking for Supply Chain Coordinator – Lead at Woodstock, ON Full Time

POSITION SUMMARY:
Penske Logistics is looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator – Lead to become part of an excellent team. This position reconciles inventory and/or material flow through locations, investigates and resolves discrepancies, uploading correct information to all systems and user communities. Interacts with vendors and suppliers on behalf of the customer to ensure network efficiency.

Day Shift

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support Supervisor on process management activities and customer communication

Indirect team management responsibilities delegated by Supervisor or Account manager

Shift management responsibilities for a single customer or across customers

Run metrics and measures to manage process controls

Train the team on processes and update SOP periodically

Respond to internal and external customer inquiries

Act as first/second level escalation for customer inquiries

Works with Operations Managers to ensure customer expectations are met

Other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor

• At least 1 year of warehousing experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent necessary
• Ability to work independently, customer service, dealing with others, multi-tasking skills, organizational skills, team player, flexibility required, verbal & written communication skills, excellent with numbers and time management, strong problem solving skills required
• Advanced computer skills including Excel and Outlook required
• Must also be able to learn and regularly operate multiple company and customer owned Warehouse Management System (WMS) platforms.
• Ability to work in non-climate controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete a Penske employment application, submit to a reference verification (to include past employment and education) are required
