As part of the HR team, the Human Resource Administrator is responsible for providing overall administrative support to daily operations in the department and supporting ongoing Learning and Development initiatives and events.

Position Overview:

• Coding and processing monthly expenses within one week of billing cycle.
• Coordinating travel arrangements for the HR department by liaising with a third party.
• Supporting the administration of learning and development initiatives, including scheduling training events, booking hotels, preparing training materials, ordering food for training, and other duties as assigned.
• Ordering office supplies and supporting departmental maintenance as required.
• Providing recruitment support including scheduling interviews, booking rooms, printing resumes and interview guides, and coordinating campus logistics.
• Coordinate logistics for attendance and materials at recruitment events.
• Assisting with the annual corporate policy sign-off process.
• Assisting with coordination of corporate recognition events such as the annual service awards.
• Performing other administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of administrative experience. Completion of relevant post- secondary education is considered an asset.
• Experience coordinating meetings and events.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and web-based software.
• Excellent communications skills, verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently, managing multiple priorities/projects and deadlines effectively.
• Strong customer service and coordination skills.
• Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
