We are currently seeking Kitchen Staff to join our team. The successful candidate will effectively contribute to memorable experiences for guests in our a la carte restaurant and banquet kitchen. Both full-time and part-time positions as Cook, Line Cook and Prep Cook are available starting in April.
What you will be doing:
Preparing food for the daily menu under the direction of the Chef
Preparing individual orders, customized to guest requirements
Preparing food for banquets and buffets
Keeping all work areas neat and clean
Ensuring all food products are handled, stored, prepared and served safely in accordance with food safety guidelines
Performing other duties as assigned
What you will bring:
Previous kitchen experience
Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
Cook certification (Journeyperson) and/or experience working in a hotel with comparable service and standards are assets
Must be highly reliable and flexible with scheduled hours of work
Must be able to work mornings, evenings, and weekends, and holidays with variable shifts
