Overview:
- Lead the sourcing for FLC/QC of several categories (e.g., FLC Non-standards; Eggs; Vegetables; Corn-based Sweeteners) (~$10MM);
- Co-owned Inbound Material Freight Performance with FLC PFC Division Transportation Team (~$15MM);
- Coordinate productivity idea generation efforts to deliver yearly aggressive GP targets (~9MM) and report regularly on Productivity performance to Sr Leadership for both FLC and QC;
- Support FLC/QC Innovation initiatives impacting the categories owned by this role (~$30MM in 2021)
- Grow to become SME in support of MSO GP Team when using PFC plant operations, costing and financial systems in executing key GP functions (e.g., PO/BPA approval; Mfg Costing; AOP and Forecasts submissions);
- Coordinate execution of SAG/SOX compliance verification audits.
- for PO/BPA approval, cost planning and forecasting leveraged by GP Team.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver against ~$9MM MSO Productivity Target and $0.3MM Cash Flow Targets;
- Continuously optimizing ~$25MM of ingredient procurement to deliver productivity which may include developing new NA suppliers;
- Ensuring ingredient food safety and legal compliance with PepsiCo’s R&D, Vendor Assurance and Food Safety policies and procedures;
- Remaining well informed of industry developments, capabilities and market trends impacting ingredient costing and supply security;
- Communicating supply risk mitigation plans to business partners and leaders when appropriate;
- Serving as PFC owner of Productivity performance tracking and reporting and coordinating SAG/SOX compliance verification audits;
- Becoming SME for IT Systems for PO/BPA approval, cost planning and forecasting leveraged by GP Team.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 Years experience in Procurement or related field;
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance or related field; Master Degree an asset;
- Prior procurement experience with roles of increasing responsibility;
- Strong communication and project management skills with a proven track record of ability to influence peers and Sr leadership.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity in a high performing/growing Business Unit;
- Comfortable with interacting with Sr Leaders within the Business and external to PepsiCo;
- Excellent at communicating and collaborating cross-functionally and working within a matrixed organization;
- Ability to lead projects and influence within peer group and without direct reports;
- Strong influential leadership and ability to forge relationships;
- Solid knowledge of accounting processes and systems (e.g., MfgPro; Oracle; AOP; Nulogx).
