The Advisor, HR Services participates as a member of the human resources team to provide human resource services to leaders and employees for an assigned client group. The Advisor, in consultation with the Manager or Human Resources Business Partner and in collaboration with corporate partners, contributes to the design and implementation of work practices and processes that enable client groups to achieve their business outcomes by providing guidance and assistance to leaders in areas such as organizational development, workforce strategy, selection, and labour relations.
What you’ll do
Develop an understanding of client group needs, initiatives and human resource issues to effectively respond to queries from leaders and employees.
Ensure the consistent application of relevant policies, collective agreements and terms and conditions of employment.
Participate on leadership teams within the assigned client group and participate in Human Resources special assignments, projects and events that have PHSA and Program wide applications.
What you bring
A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a university degree or diploma in Human Resources plus three (3) years of related experience with working knowledge of standard human resource policies and practices and related employment legislation.
Excellent communications skills including the ability to make formal presentations. The ability to communicate ideas and concepts and to prepare correspondence, reports, minutes and summaries.
Ability to use related equipment including HR information systems, word processing, spreadsheet, database and internet tools.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems quickly and efficiently with an emphasis on innovation and measurable outcomes.
Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member and develop effective relationships.

Job Type: Temporary Full-Time (November 30, 2022)
Salary Range: $59,344 – $85,308 /year. The starting salary for this position would be determined with consideration of the successful candidate’s relevant education and experience, and would be in alignment with the provincial compensation reference plan.
