We design and distribute our products to over 1000 retailers across North America and have had exciting developments in 2019 including making Oprah’s Favorite Things. We are looking to add a senior member to our leadership team who will lead marketing and growth of Pixie Mood in North America and globally. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for managing Pixie Mood’s entire Marketing funnel from awareness to acquisition and retention. The ideal candidate is strategic, analytical, has in-depth knowledge of digital and brand marketing. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and wear multiple hats. Ideally, you are an industry veteran with experience at fashion startups, has wholesale and retail experience and understands the pace of the industry, and can apply a strategic but pragmatic approach to grow the brand. The candidate will provide leadership and help grow our marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting digital and retail expansion and will work closely and
collaboratively with our sales & operations team.
Responsibilities:
Develop overall strategy for the marketing function, org structure, systems, processes and metrics aligned behind an aggressive set of growth KPIs
Build, manage, and continually update a short and long-term strategic marketing plan that aligns with the overall company goals and objectives
Lead company strategic initiatives and objectives and key results of the marketing
department
Develop, analyze and optimize existing and future marketing channels
Develop KPIs and reporting dashboards including channel specific dashboards to measure success of each individual channel
Design, deliver and maintain multi-channel, multi-touch marketing programs/campaigns that engage customers with the right message via the right channel at the right time
Work closely with Sales and ops team and customer success team to drive coordinated and sustained growth
Use data and reports to make evidence-based decisions
Turns data into compelling insights that are actionable and relevant, ensuring these
insights are addressed through impactful creative ideas and business plans
Determine KPIs for marketing department and track KPIs on a regular basis and present reports
Maintain monthly & yearly budget of forecast vs. actual spend on marketing activities and marketing related expenses
Lead, nurture, and mentor a cross-functional marketing team and building a winning marketing team
Elevate the brand, best practices, methodologies, and solutions to increase awareness, and continuously improve our brand framework narrative, positioning, messaging and general brand awareness
Ensure we deliver a compelling and consistent brand narrative across all channels and audiences
Stay up to date with the latest trends and social media platforms
Stay up to date with the latest best practices
Working with external agencies including but not limited to website/UX design, branding, etc
Conduct strategic marketing activities including market and competitive research and product positioning
